Custom Designed & Manufactured Stainless Steel Chemical Metering Skid for the Wastewater Treatment Industry

Using a combination of our advanced design and metal fabrication services, S&S Technical built two custom chemical metering skids used to measure sodium hypochlorite within a wastewater treatment application. We designed these systems from scratch based off a customer supplied 2D Auto CAD print. This system was constructed from stainless steel and possessed a magmeter for flow measurement feedback, as well as Allen Bradley VFD's and PLC controls. In order to manufacture these systems, we combined a variety of metal fabrication operations, including pipe bending, plasma cutting, and various stick, heliarc, and MIG welding processes, all while meeting precision tolerances down to (+/-) .001 of an inch. The skids each measured 4 feet square and weighed up to 5,000 pounds. These turnkey metering skids were designed and built to start up right off the truck. Meeting all of our customer's unique product specifications, S&S Technical designed and manufactured two turnkey custom chemical metering skids for the wastewater treatment industry. Once the two units were built, we delivered the finished products to our client's facility in South Georgia.
