Hurricane Filter

At S&S Technical, our high-quality industrial filtration systems possess an exclusive, patented self-cleaning design. Our industrial filtration systems are equipped with a mechanically cleaned hurricane filter which scrapes collected solids from the filtering screen using a wiper blade constructed from stainless steel, Teflon, or bronze. This blade runs perpendicular to the liquid flow and then eliminates solids from the filter – which allows the self-cleaning process to perform without suspending production.

Manufactured from durable, 304 stainless steel, our unique industrial filtration systems can be packaged within a new design or retrofitted to existing systems. Used for a wide range of applications, including chemicals, cooling liquids, paint products, and solvents, our industrial filtration systems can handle temperatures up to 200 degrees Celsius and can filter material from 150 micron to 3 mm. They can even run with air powered or electrical powered pump systems. Moreover, we will design each industrial filtration system to meet the unique power demands of our clients.
