Custom Manufactured UL 508 Control Panel Custom Manufactured UL 508 Control Panel A food industry client recently contacted S&S Technical when they required a series of custom control panels to be used within an assembly line application. S&S Technical engineers successfully designed and built 3 control panels to customer supplied print, delivering the finished units to our client's facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico in ready-to-use condition. The completed units measured 5 feet high, 4 feet wide and 1 foot deep. The control panels featured an Allen Bradley control system, complete with Micrologic PLC, touch screen, and 4 VFD controls. The panels also possessed a flange mounted main disconnect, a fused disconnect for all VFD's and transformers, and an Ethernet hub that directs communications between the drives, touch screens, and consumer network. After manufacturing was complete, the systems were tested at our facilities before being shipped to our client's location in Puerto Rico. Our high-quality control panels met UL industry standards and precise customer product specifications.
