Mobile Methanol Transload Unit Heading to Kansas City. A transload company needed help with a mobile unit they could pull down the highway from site to site, giving them the flexibility they desired to move methanol from rail to truck at any location with ease. The solution includes an S&S fabricated dual axle DOT trailer with steel deck, brakes, lights, and spare tire. The trailer is designed to mount a 44kW diesel generator being supplied by the end user. The methanol will be transferred using a Blackmer GNX4 pump, FMC Prime 4 meter for custody transfer, and FMC 210 flow control valve. Electrical includes Toptech Multiload controller, Scully ground/overfill, e-stops, Class 1, Div. 2 electrical and a BOL ticket printer.
