In a recent case, an existing truck load rack faced issues due to inadequately considered aspects, leading to damage and disruptions in the load lanes. Following multiple incidents, the site sought alternative solutions. Our team assessed the situation, identifying obstacles like loading arms and piping.
To address the challenges, we removed the 18″ bump out, allowing for the installation of a 24″ wide Green gangway positioned farther back from the truck center when pulling up on the scales. The old gangway was a narrow 18-1/2″ wide unit. This adjustment provided increased clearance, reducing the risk of equipment damage. Additionally, the wider gangway facilitated easier access from the platform to the truck, enhancing efficiency and safety.
By implementing a new gangway with enhanced clearance and making simple safety cage modifications, we ensured a smoother operation while maintaining safety standards. Our approach combines expertise and practical solutions to deliver effective results.
