VerssaLoad Distillers Corn Oil Rail Car Loading Package – Installation Underway in Iowa. S&S was asked to provide (4) truck unloading skids (photos coming) being used to unload DCO and other feedstocks from trucks to storage at a facility in Iowa that is storing the products for companies who will be making green diesel and other biofuels. The products will be loaded into rail cars with one spot loading a single product and one spot loading three products. Typical loading racks fell short of the Verssaload solution that includes integrated stainless loading meter runs with E&H coriolis meters, E&H pressure transmitters, RTD’s & Thermowells, Dixon loading arms, stainless junction boxes, pre-wired, Scully ground/overfill, factory traced and insulated pipework, S&S designed and fabricated platforms with canopies, Green access gangways with safety cages for fall protection, foundation design, PE stamped drawings & calculations. S&S also provided PolyStar track pans for secondary containment. The VerssaLoad solution allows for the complete loading system to be designed, fabricated, automated and wet tested under one roof and shipped to site in modular components for easy & fast erection/assembly. Typical loading racks don’t load anything and are just a skeleton that leaves you with the need to call and manage multiple vendors, taking up your valuable project management time and can lead to increased cost and time to bring your project online.
